The information we collect
Information you give us directly — for example when you complete our Contact Us form or our "Call It Out" reporting form. This can include your name, email address, telephone number and the contents of your message or report. Technical information — basic information your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, which may be collected through cookies or analytics.
How we use your information, and our lawful basis
We use the information you provide to: respond to your enquiry or message and provide the information you have requested; respond to, record and act upon safeguarding or welfare concerns reported through the "Call It Out" form; and maintain the security and proper functioning of our website. Our lawful bases are: legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries and manage communications); legal obligation / public task / vital interests (where information concerns the safety or welfare of a child, we process and, where necessary, share it to meet our safeguarding duties); and consent (which you can withdraw at any time, for example for non-essential cookies).
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it where necessary, for example: with relevant staff at the school in order to respond to your message; where a safeguarding or welfare concern arises, with appropriate agencies such as the local authority, social care or the police, in line with our safeguarding responsibilities; with trusted service providers who help us operate our website, under appropriate data protection terms; or where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised, in line with the school's retention schedule.
